In this section we have compacted all the important information about tickets and arrival/departure by train (roundtrip). More detailed information can be found in the respective categories.

The 3 Days Ticket for the entire Festival Weekend

A pre-​purchased 3 Days Ticket costs 74,- Euro plus 5,- Euro garbage deposit, so in total 79,- Euro. The 5,- Euro garbage deposit will be refunded at the end of the festival upon returning the filled garbage bag and chip.

The ticket price includes entrance, parking, camping, use of the local shuttle buses, all fees and a roundtrip ticket with the Deutsche Bahn (see Journey for details).

Single Day Ticket for Friday, Saturday and Sunday

A pre-​purchased Single Day Ticket costs 49,- Euro and is only valid for the respective day. A Single Day Ticket does not include camping.

The ticket price includes entrance, parking, camping, use of the local shuttle buses, all fees and a roundtrip ticket with the Deutsche Bahn (see Journey for details).

Ticket for the Chiemsee Reggae Cruise on Thursday

You will need a separate ticket for the boat cruise, it is not included in your festival ticket. Purchase of the ticket does permit you to use the shuttle-​buses for needed transportation to the event (but not for travel with the Deutsche Bahn). The pre-​purchased ticket costs 25,- Euro.

Children

Children under the age of 12 are admitted for free when in the company of ticket carrying legal guardian.

Handicapped

An Assistant for a handicapped person (handicapped ID required) is also admitted at no extra cost.

Arrival with the Train

The entrance ticket (regardless whether it is a 3 Days Tickt or a Single Day Ticket, Hard- or E-ticket) is valid as a one time roundtrip ticket in almost the entire south of Germany, including Bavaria, Baden-​Württemberg, Hessen,Thuringia, and Saxony, from the 13st to the 17th of August 2009 for these means of transport. The prerequisite for this service, is that you pre-​purchase your ticket. Any tickets bought day of can only be used as a return ticket on the train.
